setting up Outlook 2000, or Outlook Express to retrieve mail from MSN Hotmail

How do i setup Outlook 2000, or Outlook Express to
retrieve mail from MSN Hotmail? Any help would be greatly
apreciated.

Hi,

In account configuration wizard give ur hotmail email address and select
the mail server as HTTP and mail service provider as HOTMAIL. Specify email
address and password in the login information screen. After exiting the
wizard screen it will download ur HOTMAIL folders to ur local Outlook
Express box and will syncrozise with ur mails in ur hotmail account.

Note : While selecting the HOTMAIL inbox in Outlook express, it will try
to connect to the HOTMAIL server. If ur not connected to the Internet at the
time it will bring up an error message.

According to Milly Staples (an Outlook MVP), Outlook 2000 doesn't support
Hotmail. For Outlook Express, ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
