setting up new e-mail

I just bought a new PC and installed everything but I cannot set up a new
e-mail account, can you help? on the server incoming mail pop3 I put
mail.microsoft.com and on the outgoing mail smtpauth.microsoft.com is this
correct? or what should it be?

Perhaps, if microsoft.com is your email provider, which would probably
mean you work for Microsoft.

If not, your email provider is probably also your internet provider. Ask
your
email provider for their instructions for setting up to use their email
servers.
If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet, use their
instructions
for Outlook Express but under Windows Mail instead. The instructions are
probably somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your
email provider is and see if anyone here already knows where to find the
instructions.

Your mail servers are run and controlled by your Internet Service Provider,
not Microsoft. You need to contact your ISP who will then walk you through
the mail settings for your mail client of choice..
