Setting up my Outlook at home

How do I set up my Outlook 2003 to work from home, but leave the messages on
the server (as I do at the office)?

I right-click Outlook and choose Email accounts.
I choose Microsoft Exchange Server.
I put in our server and my user name.
I also uncheck "Use Cached Exchange Mode", which is what I assumed was what
would move the data to my machine (which I don't want).
When I say click next, I get the Message:

"Mail from this Microsoft Exchange Server account will be delivered to the
existing Personal Folder on your local computer. If you wish to keep your
mail on your server, you must change the default delivery location using the
E-Mail Accounts command from the Tools menu."

I thought that was what I was doing by unchecking the "Use Cached Exchange
Mode".

When I start up Outlook and go to the Tools/E-Mail Accounts menu item, I get
the same screen I had before.

I choose the view or change existing e-mail accounts and get the email
screen.
If I choose Microsoft Exchange entry, there is a drop down below that says
to deliver new email to either:
Personal Folders or Mailbox Tom Shad.

Is this the default location it is talking about?

And which one do I choose?

Thanks,

Tom.

This is an incorrect assumption.

Nope. Follow the instructions in the message you received. Click
Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next. At the bottom left, select the Exchange account
in the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" drop-down.

Continue to use cached mode. If you work offline, the cache will allow you
to operate on your messages just like you were connected. You can then
later sync and have all the work you've done coordfinated with the Exchange
server.

That worked fine.

Thanks,
