Setting up e-mail account?

I'd like to set up an e-mail account, but I don't know the uh...address...
something@_______.___? And I have no clue how to find this out except here

You've never used email before? If you have, what is the part of
your email address after the @ symbol?

If no previous email address, get a new one from any of the following:
a) your Internet service provider (ISP)
b) free Gmail: http://gmail.com
c) or if you upgrade to Windows Live Mail, you can use a free Hotmail account.
