Setting up an automatic msg to respond to incoming email

How can I send an automated retunr msg to people notifying them when I will
be out of the office?

If you are on Exchange Server use the Out of Office Assistant.
If not then you have two possible options -
1) See if your ISP has a "vacation notice" on your web mail (by far the
better option) or
2) set up a rule. This means that Outlook will have to be running 24/7 and
you need to be very careful in setting the parameters otherwise it will
reply to all the spam you get...
