Hi.

I know there is an option in Outlook Express to read all
message as plain text and I read about a similar option
introduced in Outlook 2003.

Does someone known if there is anyway to do the same using
Outlook 2000 ?
(key in registry, option, script, or any other solution.)

Thanks to all,
and happy new year.

Try adding the DWORD registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\V.V\Outlook\Options\Mail\ReadAsP
lain

and set it to "1". In the above, "V.V" is the version of Office you're
using. I think for Outlook 2000 it's "9.0", but I could be wrong.

Hi Brian and thanks for your answer (I have read just now
your mail because i was on holiday).

I tried it. You are right, version number is 9.0, but
unfortunatly the key doesn't work on Outlook 2000: I still
read all message in their orginal format.
Maybe is it only for 2003.

Thanks again, Luke

Apparently this feature was added in OL2002.
