Setting PC with wrong name

I sent my PC away to sort out various problems and the
company who did the job spelt my name Dennis, which has
screwed up all my files. I went to the register and did a
Ctrl Find for "Dennis" then modified the name to "Denis".
It worked ok for most of my files until I came
to "Strings" which I couldnt modify.
Can anyone help me PLEASE?

what you should do is change the computer name. right
click on 'my computer'->'properties'->'Computer name'-
