In the old versions of Windows one was able to set
specific passwords for Drives/Resources that one wanted
to share with others on a network. But I can't find that
option in WindowsXP -- I have bought a portable/external
harddrive to share between my desktops and my notepad. I
would like to set a password protection on it so it isn't
that easy to get at the data by casual users (presently
all they would have to do is plug it into their PC and
voila... there's the info.
Does anyone know how to password protect a harddrive
(whether removable or not)????
Thanks,
Gary
