setting home page

I set my home page to Yahoo. All of a sudden when I open
IE, my home page is now set to "global-Finder", I've tried
to reset yahoo as my home page, but when I reboot, it goes
back to global finder. How can I permanently set my home
page to Yahoo and get rid of this global finder for good?
