setting default programmes

Hi,

Alot of my MP3 files seem to be linked to different Mp3
playing applications I would like all my Mp3 files to open
up with a certain application, how can I control which
application will open up when I click on a file of a
certain type?

Control Panel/Folder Options/File Types. Let the waving flashlight do its
thing which may take several minutes. When the file types appear, scroll
down and select (highlight) MP3. From there on, what to do is fairly
obvious.

the instructions.
