I am trying to determine whether my USB is enabled in the BIOS , and I
beleive I can only do that in Set up -- Problem is that I had password
protected a few items on my system including the SET UP, and it wont let me
get past that point before rebooting without being able ti view the set up.
Any suggestions?
A worry wort,

Russ :)

Pull your cover, pull the CMOS battery, and wait. Some take a little time,
some take more - but generally pulling CMOS power will reset to factory
defaults.

Hi WM , Once I blew the dust out, I still could not identify the battery.
The closest thing that resembled a battery is a 3Volt Panasonic disc. In a
somewhat difficult position to extract. Would that be it?

Thanks

Russ

Fantastic WM, My daughter's tiny hands managed to extricate it and replaced
it after a few minutes as you suggested, and I have accomplished more in the
set up than the bios check, and all my apps are now working perfectly.
Thanks a mill,

Russ
