Set ReminderSet = True as default for all appointments

Is there a way to have ReminderSet = True as the default for ever
appointment. I have a boss who simply opens the calendar and the
types just the subject in Calendar view. He wants me to figure out ho
he can avoid having to remember to click the Reminder checkbox. I'v
seen code that creates a new appointment and then you can use th
ReminderSet option but it sets the date & time for current and I'
looking for a way he can just open his calendar and type in th
appointment right next to the time and have the Reminder checkbox clic
automatically.

Also, what is the code that will open the calendar up automaticall
when Outlook is ran?

What version of outlook? Tools, options should have a checkbox for default
reminder - check it to always use a reminder.
