I have a new windows xp home machine and everything is fine at startup
except that no services start. I go through and start all the one's that
say automatic and everything works great. How can I get all those services
to start automatically?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Run msconfig, open the services tab and make sure all are checked

thanks for the info. They are checked in msconfig upon bootup.

Is there anything else I could try?

Thanks

Open msconfig and make sure that Normal Start up is selected on the General
tab.

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.
