We are trying to remove a virus from our system. The
virus is located in a .scr file in the C:\windows\system32
directory. We have not been able to access the file to
delete it. Symantec tech support advised us to go to
Admin. Tools, and locate the service with the infected
file name, and stop that particular service, thus allowing
us to have access to the file to delete it.

When we go to the list of services, we are unable to tell
which would apply to the file in question. Any ideas on
which service(s) we need to turn off in order to be able
to delete the file containing the virus?

Thanks.
