Yesterday while chatting on MSN messenger, my scheduled Norton scan started.
I kept it running in the background and continued to chat. I started getting
messages with "STACK" in them... I didn't write them down, I just "X'd" them
closed. While I was trying to sign off of Messenger, my computer suddenly
shut off. When I restarted the system did a check of files and everything
seemed ok for the rest of the day. When I returned this morning, the system
won't start up. I get a message:
"Services.exe - Unable to locate component.
This application has failed to start because SCERV.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem. "
Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it!!!!!!!
