Service pack download size

XP SP2 was ~260 MB, but it can vary greatly depending on what is included.
It could only be ~100MB or so.
 
XP x64 is 360 MBs, which means Vista's could be considerably larger, but
there are certain things to take into account, if you have acquired every
update up to the release point of the SP, then you will probably just have
to do an express update. Although rumors have been circulating that Vista
SP1 will be a major kernel update to synchronize with the release of
Microsoft's Longhorn Server in Q3. Microsoft has not mentioned any
information about SP1 anyway.
