messages
can anyone help me please?????

Dude. No way you wiped your drive flat and are having this kind of issue
unless a) your drive has gone soute, b) other system hardware issues, c)
driver conflicts.

XP SP2 runs smooth. I have my home network all running on different
hardware, mobile and not, and have SP2 on all my clients. No problems since.

Run diags on your drives + hardware, check bios version, and give it another
format + install.

I hear what ur saying but all I do is format c drive and install xp and
thats it xp picks up my net connection and I then I just run updates on
windows web site

Hi
I can help you this much. You could have restored to a previous
configuration. Don't know if thats possible for you now though. Prior to
installing SP2, Windows will automatically set a restore point which you can
reach through Safe Mode.
Service techs have told me that to solve this problem they have had to
reinstall XP Twice to finally clear up problems.
