Does Service Pack 2 include a firewall and virus protection. If so I
suppose I should delete my 3rd party versions.

Yes. But so did Windows XP before SP2.

No. See the answer I wrote to you earlier. Please do not post the
same question twice.
 
Turn off the virus scanner before installing SP2. Turn it on again
afterwards. SP2 does not include virus protection. The same for your
firewall. SP2 turns on the XP firewall by default where before it was
turned off by default, but you do not have to use it.
