Service pack 2

I recently downloaded service pack 2 for windows and had
to reinstall windows. Now I no longer have microsoft
works on my computer. I looked through the disks that
came with the computer and it seems as though none are
microsoft works. How do I get this back?

Well, if your computer came with it - and it shows it on your invoice - you
MAY be able to contact the people you bought it from.

If neither of those things are true, then you can buy it.

I have the same problem, and I was successfully fixed this problem. When you
start or restart computer press F8 button immediately. Then wait a few
seconds. Go to SAFE MODE. Computer will show the desktop warning message
-click NO, and you will start SYSTEM RESTORE program.Then click yes option,
and pick out the date and hour before you downloaded and installed the
Service Pack2. Then click next. Computer will restore all components, and
that take some time depende of computer speed( 1hour?).When this finished, if
computer start in safe mode(there are copy of all computer components),
restore computer again, and before he installed windows XP immediatelly press
F8 button - then press NORMALE MODE, NAD ENTER. I hope I was a useful. I
don't garantie that your computer will work. Please don't sand me a feedback,
because I have not a lot of time.
 
If you don't have the time to stand by what you suggest, wouldn't it be
better if you suggested nothing at all? what happens if the op gets into a
total mess with what you have suggested?
