service pack 2

i have installed this sp2 and i seem to have problems
virtually everytime i start the pc. when i start it,it
starts up as usual and just before i get to log on page
the screen goes blank even though my pc is still running.
anyone know why its doing this?

Keep in mind, you downloaded and installed a beta service pack, as it is not in final release yet!
 
It may be your video card drivers. I suggest booting in Safe Mode by
pressing F8 before Windows loads. Uninstall your video card
drivers/software, then reboot and download the latest drivers and
install them. Hope this helps, but if not, post a follow up to the SP2
newsgroup and we'll go from there ;)
