How in the hell can I rid my computer of Service pack 2.
My Norton Anti Virus doesn't function nor does my scanner.
Can system restore be used to rid myself of this @!*$+

Hi

You should find a SP2 uninstall entry in Add/Remove Programs.

The following command will also start the uninstall program if it
is available:

%windir%\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe

(run it e.g. from Start/Run)

If this doesn't work out, you could try a System Restore.

According to microsoft, you will need this wonder drug to cure all ills
lurking in the wild. If you don't then you can't have any further
hotfixes from next January. The problems can be solved by dumping all
non Microsoft software and buy new ones made by Microsoft. You have to
support Microsoft's monopoly.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I use non Microsoft products where ever possible which requires no
activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my defalt browser which has everything I need for
my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching

False, AFAIK - I read that MS's support for previous SP levels is far
longer than that, so SP1 will be patched for over a year (2 years I
think) after SP2 was released.
