Service Pack 2...Virus & Firewall ?

Which firewall and virus checker should i use (which is best). Nortons or
the service pack 2 one. Many thanks. Sam
 
SP 2 does not contain a virus scanner and its firewall is only a one
way firewall so I suggest you use a separate firewall and it is
mandatory that you have a virus scanner.

SP2 does not come with a virus checker and its Firewall is only inbound .
A lot of people use ZoneAlarm for a firewall.......its free and stops both
inbound and outbound.
And if you have Norton Anti Virus check to see if its compatable with XP then
use it or look for AVG Anti Virus...also free.
Both can be found by doing a Google

I like ZoneAlarm Security Suite. It is cheaper than Norton and does the job
very well without taking over everything like Norton does. I have been using
it for some time and have had no problems at all. It will automatically
disable the SP2 firewall on install. www.zonelabs.com It also contains a
very good anti-virus suite that updates almost daily. One license will allow
you to use it on two computers for home use.
