What is the difference between a server and a computer network? In a network
is one computer considered a server?

A computer network is a collection of computers linked by a network (usually
a bunch of CAT5 cables).

A server is a special computer within this network. It provides centralised
administrative functions such as user authentication, Active Directory, file
and printer sharing, EMail facilities.

Large networks usually have a server but small networks often don't. It's
really a question whether centralised administration is required or not.
