Hi,

I've just completed installing a W2K SP4 Server and found
that the server service is not listed under services.

Can anyone shed any light on why it's missing and how I
get it listed/installed?

There doesnt appear to be any problems with the server
other than PerfNet is complaing that it is unable to open
the server service.

Thanks,

Kevin

Was a network adapter installed?

The server service is an alias for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver
