I have Windows XP Home and for some reason I cannot share my files now
with the other computer on the network. It has ME on it. Sharing
worked a while ago, I am not sure exactly when it stopped working. I
get the message The Server Service was not started. When I attempted
to start the service I got Error 126, the specified module could not
be found. I checked and I have srvsvc.dll and to be sure I expanded
it from the CD. Still no luck. I have gone back to the earliest
restore point and reinstalled the last windows updates. Do I need to
reinstall Windows to be able to share?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
