Server restart restriction

It is possible to make only users from Administrators group can restart the
Windows 2000 server? Other user groups, e.g. Power users, are unable to do
this.

Go onto Local Security Policy and under security settings/local policies/user rights
make sure just administrators are included in the user right for shut down the
system. --- Steve

To be quite silly and slightly serious....

Only if you can prevent physical access to the server - as the 'off'
button does not have permissions
