I am attempting to set up my domain's email service into Window's mail.
Using the POP3/Send and Receive information I was provided, everything seems
to be fine except for sending email. I get the message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'none', Account:
'mail.terwillegers.com', Server: 'mail.terwillegers.com', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I have attempted quite a bit of troubleshooting, but to no avail. Anyone
have any suggestions? Thanks! (the host's help site hasn't helped much :))

Very few mail providers use SSL with Port 25?

Try removing SSL on the advanced tab of your account properties, test, or
try changing the outgoing port number to 465 and then try 587, test each
one, the latter 2 will require SSL selected.

What is the hosts help site, I found a brick company in Ohio :-)

How are you connecting to the internet, who is your ISP?

Thanks Mac... all three suggestions didn't clear it up. Receiving mail is
still fine. My ISP is att/yahoo... and the host I went with is iEasySite.
Not sure what that brick company is all about. lol

Try Outgoing Mail (SMTP) smtp.att.yahoo.com on the server tab.

Change the SMTP port to 465 and check the option labelled Use an encrypted
connection (SSL), On the Advanced tab

Terwillegers.com is not an ISP. As such, your home ISP (AT&T)
will block your use of any port 25 SMTP server other than their own.
For an explanation of this policy, see
http://www.postcastserver.com/help/Port_25_Blocking.aspx

To send from home, you will have to substitute your home ISP's
SMTP server. Here's how to do that:
1. Go to Tools, Accounts, select the terwillegers.com account,
click Properties, Servers. Change the name of the outgoing (SMTP)
server to smtp.att.yahoo.com. Also, make sure that "My server
requires authentication" is checked.
Click the adjacent "Settings" button. Select "Log on using"
then enter your AT&T email address and password.

2. Go to the Advanced tab and change the port number for the
outgoing (SMTP) server to 465, and enable the associated
SSL option. Do not change any receiving parameters.Click OK.
Try sending.
