Couldn't find 2003 AD so asking the questions here.
Where are all the server 2003 newsgroups?

Has anyone managed to get the AD advanced find to work?
I am trying to do a find for users in an OU that are members of a specific
group by using Membership(2000) or Member of(2003) is exactly equal to the
Groupname.
It fails to work for me in 2003 or 2000.

Hello,
Microsoft.public.windows.server.active_directory is used for both 2000 and
2003, we try to keep this dedicated to 2000 questions, but its okay. :)

What kind of mode/ functional level are the domain in? I have seen this
happen in large directories. Can you search by a ldap query? I think the
problem can be the MMC is you have a large numbers of objects?

Domain and tree are running at 2003 native. Directory contains approximately
400 users and 3 DCs so is small.
I tested the same find on a 2000 test domain with only 2 users, 2 groups and
2 DCs and got the same nothing found result.

I am now looking at using LDP for the finds but would have preferred to use
the GUI interface.
