Seriously - Cannot find PST file

I need to repair my inbox and cannot find the PST file to use the repair
application.

I have changed all the properties in the folders to display hidden files and
to display all the system files and I still cannot locate a PST file either
through browsing or searching.

I know the PST file or inbox exists, because my POP server keeps retrieving
mail and my number of unread messages in the inbox keeps increasing.

Help!!!

Questions:
Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?
What version of Outlook?
Are you on a network or personal machine?

Thanks for checking in. I did finally find the file. I use outlook2002,
not express and I'm on my home machine.
