I hope I an explain this properly so someone can help
me. I have two computer one is running XP the other
98SE I decided that I did not need to use both
computers I would like to make a back up of my c: drive
on the one system so that if I ever need to go back I
can. The drive that is going to be the backup is a 60 GB
drive. I formatted it with Fat32 and made two
partitions with the maxtor setup util. I then used the
same util to make a copy of my C: Drive onto the drive
that I just formatted. The reason I want to install the
HD in the other computer is so I can automatically
baackup my files over the network. The backup drive is
really messed up I cannot get it to work propery. I even
tried putting the XP Setup CD in the HD but got a warning
that the Drive is missing th NTLDR file. I did find some
information on how to create a XP bootdisk, but I am
hoping that someone can tell me how to get this Disk to
boot properly. It is an exact copy of the other drive so
I can't figure out what the problem is. Thanks
