Seperate values within a feild

I work with a proprietary database that does a 'CSV' dump that I import into
Access. The problem I have is that the name field from the dump contains the
First, MI and Last names all in a single field. It would offer greater
flexibility if I could seperate these into their own respective fileds. Any
help appreciated.
 
Do a search. This is asked and answered almost daily. Of course, it will
be difficult to do if you have entries like:

Mary van der Beek
Mary Joe van der Beek
Susan Jones (no middle)
Susan S. Jones
etc.


In the future, I'd suggest you search for your answers before posting a new
thread. The easiest way I have found is to go to www.google.com, click the
"groups" option, and enter a search string similar to the following...
