HELP
I've created a new powerpoint with music..however, the
people I've sent the powerpoint to, can't hear the music.
Yet, other powerpoints they have on their computer play
with no problem at all.

Any ideas why this isn't working?

See this page for some good tips:

If you're using a WAV file and you increase the "Link Sounds With File
Size Greater Than:" option in Tools > Options to a number greater than
the size of the WAV file (1000K‰1MB), then the WAV file will be embedded
and you shouldn't have to worry about the link issues.

With other sound formats, insert the sound into the same folder before
you send the presentation. That will ensure that the link is relative.
Be sure to send both the presentation and sound files to the other user.
If they save them to the same folder, the sounds should play.
