Sent Messages not being sent

Although it is set up to put a copy of sent emails into my sent folder, all
of a sudden it is not happening, and ones that have been saved have
disappeared. Can anyone help here.

go to the Sent folder, then click on View - Current view - show all messages

Thanks Dave, it does say show all messages. I have checked everything. I am
not a newbie.

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems with
Windows Mail over time.

Try running the various repair functions in the WMUtil program:

If no improvement, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail
