I am not having my sent items saved in my sent folder even
though I have the box checked to save a copy of in sent
folder. What is going on? I can see them on the web
server but not on my machine. Any ideas?

There is another setting that can be turned on that will
save items with their original message.

This may be turned on your machine and cause this
type of behavior. You will find it in the TOOLS menu
under OPTIONS then EMAIL OPTIONS and then
the ADVANCED EMAIL OPTIONS.

No that didn't work either. I have uninstalled office
totally and reinstalled office and then reset up the
exchange account. Still nothing in the sent folder.

Which Sent Items folder are you examining, the Exchange-hosted one or a
PST-hosted one?

Might be that the OST file is corrupt. I think I would try
deleting all *.ost files on the your hard-drive.

Close Outlook
Perform a FIND (click on desktop and press <F3>)
(If you are using XP or W2K operating system be
sure to look in hidden files)
Look for *.OST files.
Delete all that you find from the find window.
Restart Outlook.

When you restart Outlook it will rebuild a fresh new
ost file. Depending on how much information you
keep in your mailbox this can cause the first opening
to take longer than normal.

From the exchange server host. I can see them when I
check the mail on our webmail but not on my PC here at
work. Thanks

Do you have an AV (Anti-Virus) program running on
your machine?

Have you set up any Rules that may be running and
doing this?

There are no rules for sent messages in the anti Virus. I
am thinking that I need to remove some the outlook parts
in the register after uninstalling Outlook one more time.
any other ideas? Thanks for the help
