I've found that there's a possibility that someone has
logged onto my small business computer and has forwarded
proprietary information via my email to themselves. Is
there anyway I can find out for sure? It has been months
since this email may have occurred and I'm sure the hacker
deleted the "Sent" email. Please help!

Hi,

First of all, this is the wrong newsgroup. This kind of
posts should be used at the exchange newsgroup, because
the question actually is an MS Exchange Server question.

The answer is: maybe.

If you have set the tracking option within the Exchange
server console on, then you can track the message. If
not, there is only one other possibility that you check
the deleted items. If the deleted item retention time of
your server is less then the time of the sending mail.
The deleted emails can be retrieved from one of the
outlook menus.

Hope this is helpfull.

With kind regards,

If someone had physical access to your computer, you're out of luck....if
you've searched your sent items and see nothing, it's gone. What makes you
think this happened? Make sure you have a good srong password on your
computer, and lock the console or log off when you aren't in front of it.
