sent email not being stored in sent folder

Good day,

We just upgraded from outlook 2000 to 2003. Some users are complaining that
some email they send are not being stored in the sent folder. I've
re-installed outlook and run the repair wizard and that doesn't seem to help.
I've also patched up outlook to the latest patches. Any comments would be
appreciated.

Have you witnessed this yourself? Is it reproducible even for these users?

Have you checked in tools | options | email options | advanced to make sure
that everything looks right? ("in folders other than inbox save replies with
original message" is not ticked?)

Also, how many items are in their sent items folder? There's a limit of
about 16K items in a folder, so it's possible that they need to delete
some...
