Sent Email contains [SPAM] in Subject Heading

I am using MS Outlook 2003 (SP1). My first test emails on new Dell computer
were interrupted by McAffee virus/spam program with red-lettered warning that
it had detected spam and was halting outgoing email. Ever since, all my email
from Outlook has [SPAM] in Subject heading bar. I am not a spammer and I was
just sending test emails to check functionality of Outlook on new computer. I
am certain McAffee corrupted the Outlook code. I have examined this problem
ad nauseum and I need to do something quickly. Any suggestions? How difficult
is it to remove and re-load MS Outlook or the entire MS Office? Any help

What you are seeing is being done by your anti-spam program (McAfee), not
Outlook. I would contact McAfee.

Scanning outgoing mail with an anti-virus or -spam program causes more
problems than it cures. Disable the mail integration of McAfee.
 
I have disabled McAffee's email monitoring. However, the damage has been
done. The examined the code (View, Options) in emails with [SPAM] in heading
and the assessment is that while it appears to be Outlook it is fraudulent
and therefore labeled SPAM. How difficult is it to remove and re-load
Outlook? Thanks

If you don't have a lot, you can always edit the subjects to remove the
"[SPAM]" string.
