sent and recieved bytes almost same

hi
i am using windows xp professional
i have a cable connection for internet
my problem is eventhough i am not uploading any data, my activity
figure shows
sent and recieved data figures are almost same.if i browse for one
hour, my figure will be sent:8450packets and recieved : 8950packets
please help

should be about the same this is packets each packet received a nak is set
saying got it..
the difference will be in the amount of data each packet has a nak is what
32bytes I think a received packet can be from 32 to1500

so don't fret over it :)
