What is the maximum number of TO's that can be used (in one shot) in
conjunction with Outlook Express.
I have an application that will need to send out 500 or so (maybe more)
TO's.

Any suggestions for a different method than OE?

I'll also try the OE newsgroup... thanks in advance...

Doug,
Would you direct me to any references where I could read more on this
process. I searched the Access NGs under "distribution list" "outlook
express", but didn't find any meaningful information. I also found some
commercial products available that indicate they can do that, but I'd prefer
to find an Access/OExpress solution... if possible.
I'd imagine I would be Exporting an access table to a .csv type file, but
can't figure out how to get Outlook to utilize that DL without screwing up
the resident Address Book.
Or... how to get something like a report sent out with a distribution
list via OE.
Any info appreciated...
Thanks,

I doubt that you can automate the creation of a distribution list in Outlook
Express, as it doesn't expose itself to automation.

However, if you create a distribution list in OE, I believe you should be
able to send to that group, rather than to the individual addresses.

Doug,
OK. I'm familiar with OE "groups", which is what I think you're
referring to.
I could createa new profile with it's own address book, import the email
addresses via a .csv file, and try to get past any ISP restrictions with the
mailings.
I'll investigate further, but... from some of the responses I got on the
OE newsgroup... probably OE is not featured to handle this type of problem
well. Perhaps Outlook or Free Agent, or some other email app.
Thanks for the response... I just wanted to check if other Access users had
run into this before.
