sending pp to word

When exporting a PowerPoint file to Word, why is the Word
file so large? Or is there another way to do this other
than sent to?

Unfortunately, the send to word does create mega-huge files. The method to
keep it a bit smaller is to check the 'Paste Link' box in the send-to-word
dialog box and (as soon as it is over in Word) break all the links.

Hi Mary
If u just take the text & not the picture or the background u get a nice
workable file
I do the text work in word & import & export all the time

In addition to the other causes, jpeg images on your slides make for very
large Word objects. The solution: a bigger hard drive.

Have you surpassed 100 MB yet? :-)
