sending plain test to newsgroups

In options \send I have plain text checked news but when I try to send to a newsgroup that only excepts plain text I get window saying site doesn't recieve html news.What can I do in settings.

In "Tools|Options|Send", do you have "Reply to messages in the format in
which they were sent" checked? If so, uncheck it.
