I need to make my file size smaller to send thru Yahoo - they only allow 3MB per attachment and my pics are running about 3.5MB each. Is there a way to resize the file easily as I'm a novice at sending attachments.

I guess you're running WinXP or you wouldn't
be here...right?

OK, go to the following link and download and
install: ImageResizer.exe

http://tinyurl.com/36n

Then you can open any folder that contains
images and you will have an option to resize.
Just right click the selected image files and
choose Resize Pictures from the menu. You
can select one image or a whole group.

The program will place the resized copies in
the folder with your originals.
(Tip: *Never* overwrite your originals)

If you would like to adjust the compression
and retain the same image size...try using
the freeware IrfanView:

IrfanView 3.85
http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html
(get the plug-ins too)

You may want to check out the inquiry that I sent on 1/24/04 having to do with the resizing issue. The responses may be pertinent to your problem.
