Sending Photos via email

When I select a picture from within my pictures and then
select email this file, I receive the message box to make
the picture smaller, I proceed by selecting OK and then
receive the error message "Windows Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close." The details
identify the mipmapi.dll.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
