sending movie to my DV camera

I'm trying to send my movie to my DV camera but everytime I try the progress scale just gets bigger and bigger and the minutes till finished keeps increasing (I've given it many hours to finish!) Still nothing has worked! Any ideas how I can upload this movie (15 min.) to my camera?
