When I compose a message in Outlook and send it, it never
reaches it's destination. The message appears in my Sent
folder, but does not get delivered.

When I go directly to my ISP's website and send messages
it works fine. So I have narrowed the problem down to
Outlook.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Is there a fix?

Thanks,
Bill

What happens if you send a email to yourself ?
Do you get any error messages at all or are the people just not receiving it
? Does Comcast have any idea's ?
Your welcome to send a test email to me (change to "o" in .cöm) and I will
see if one I get it and two if anything looks strange to it.

What version of Outlook do you have?Could you turn on diagnostic logging
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and
post the OPMLog.log file (preferably as an attachment) after you send a
message? If the message is being moved to Sent Items, the mail server
should have received, and accepted responsibility for delivering, the
message - the log will show whether that's the case.
