I have checked and rechecked my settings and I cant seem to find out why I
cant send mail. I receive it ok, but nothing is getting out. Here is the
error message, any ideas?
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account:
'mail.autismawareness.ca', Server: 'mail.autismawareness.ca', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Thanks!

Does the connection to the server go through only one internet provider's
equipment? If not, such connections to port 25 are often blocked to cause
trouble for spammers.

This may or may not help:

When I tried a tracert on that server, I reached
mail.autismawareness.ca.cust.hostedemail.com. Is hostedemail.com
the company that is running the server for you? If so, see here:

Connections that use port 25 are often blocked if they cross from one
internet provider's equipment to another's, to cause problems for spammers.
You may need to switch to using one of the other ports listed for your
outgoing mail server. For this, click on Tools, then Accounts, then this
email account, then Properties, then Advanced. Change the port number,
then click Apply, then OK, then Close.
