Sending mail

I am unable to send a message. I get the following in a pop up window I
amon sbcglobal.net (pop.att.yahoo.com smtp.att.yahoo.com):

One or more e-mail messages cannot be sent.

After you verify the format of your recipient addresses, McAfee recommends
that you resend those messages from your e-mail program.

Showing the full error messages would get you help faster.

McAfee and Norton antivirus programs often cause various problems
with Windows Mail, as does a recent antivirus program from Trend.

You might check your email account setup against the instructions
for setting up such an account:

The first thing that you need to do is to get rid of McAfee or at least disable the incoming and outgoing email scanning feature. You will still be protected with your resident AV.
Also it would be very helpful if you can post the entire error message including the error number as it is shown. Then we can suggest the correct fix for your issue
