Hi gurus,

I got ms outlook 2003 on a W2K3 box. Occationally I have noticed that it
displayes "Sending 1 of 122" in the outlook status bar but there is no
emails in the outbox?!?

What could be causing this?

Many thanks in advance.

KK

Thanks for that.
as this is a production server, i am a bit reluctant in installing software
components. is there any other way to check this out?

Is the account a POP account?

Hi Brian,

Yes it is. another thing that i must mention is that the read receipts are
disabled. so it is very unlikely that it is trying to send a read receipt.

Perhaps, but it's the only type of message of which I'm aware that is
invisible in the Outbox (although that doesn't mean it _is_ the only
invisible type of message). It certainlly can't hurt to look and, read
receipt or not, the link I sent should enable you to find it, I imagine.
