Sending mail makes windows "alt-tab"

Everytime I send an e-mail windows "alt-tab" and put focus on another
program like internet explorer or what I have used last..
Is there a way to make it stop doing this?

I tell it to send messages by clicking on Send instead, and don't get
such a problem.
 
I think the OP is trying to say that every time he clicks Send,
Windows puts a different program window in the foreground focus,
as though he had clicked on Alt-Tab.

Kobbe, I don't know of a fix for that, but if that was happening
to me I'd switch to the newer and better Windows Live Mail program:
