sending from the wrong account

I have 3 email accounts and no matter what I do (change default, choose a
different account to send with), it always sends from hotmail. I've tried
setting it to secure authentication for the outgoing server and still no
result. Always sends from hotmail. What can I do?

I don't use a Hotmail account so this info may not provide a solution in this
case.

When you compose a message, do you have an "Accounts" button shown on a toolbar?
This would allow you to select which account the message is sent from.

You didn't mention which version of Outlook you're using, but if it's similar to
OL2002, you'll either have to change the OL message View to include "Formatting"
toolbar which should include the "Accounts" command or customize the Standard
toolbar by adding the "Accounts" command.

Good luck.

This doesn't help. Even when I choose which account to send from in the
'accounts' pulldown menu, it still sends from the hotmail account anyway. I
am using outlook2003.

I know how to choose the sending account. The problem is that after I make
that choice, it still sends from another account. This is some kind of bug,
glitch, problem that obviously goes beyond a lack of basic knowledge about
how to send from one account or another.

I'm not being critical...only trying to help. The page I found dealt with the
MOOL subscription...did it apply to you? If so, there were three alternatives
methods listed...did you try them all? If not applicable, sorry for the
suggestion.
